- Mandarin Chinese / Chinese Culture Teacher: Grade 5, part time
11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. daily schedule

Mass. Beijing Chinese School
We are planning to hire at least three Chinese teachers for the next school year (for classes with students ages 9-12, 5-6, and 4-5). The fall semester usually starts in early September and ends the weekend before Christmas. Spring semester usually starts in early January and ends in June. We only have classes on Sunday afternoons, and each class is about 1.5 hours.
Qualifications: 1. The teacher should be loving and caring towards children.
2. Speaks Mandarin Chinese. Able to teach Chinese and Pingying. Chinese teaching experience is preferred but not required.
3. Basic ability to communicate in English.
4. Willingness to cooperate with school admininstration and contribute time and energy to extra school activities.
5. Follow school rules.
Compensation: Beijing Chinese Language School is a non-profit organization, but teachers get much higher compensation compared with teachers from other Chinese schools. Usually, the lowest is $20/hr and the highest is $60-80/hr, depending on the class size and teaching quality.
